In an effort to increase efficiency, security, and convenience, USCIS announced the availability of online submission for Forms N-565 and N-336, which are typically used by applicants seeking to replace naturalization, citizenship, and repatriation certificates. USCIS elaborated on the expanded functionality by noting that applicants “may also use it to apply for a special certificate of naturalization […] to be recognized by a foreign country.” Applicants and their attorneys or accredited representatives will also be allowed to pay filing fees and submit evidence with the expansion of online filing.
