The Immigration Department of Malaysia has announced that it has extended its visa exemption policy for citizens of China and India until December 31, 2026.
In December 2023, the Immigration Department announced a visa liberalization plan which included the visa waiver for Chinese and Indian nationals, effective December 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, allowing a 30-day stay, for tourism, business, social or transit purposes (not for work or study).
Travellers are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card within three days before the arrival date.
