According to recent reports from the South China Morning Post, the border between China and Hong Kong will fully reopen in January for the first time in three years. The border reopening plans follow plans from the Chinese government to ease COVID-19 restrictions.
According to reports, thousands of customs, immigration, and police officers will be stationed at the land checkpoints to facilitate the reopening.
