Daniel José joined Erickson Immigration Group (EIG) as a Law Clerk in 2017. In his role at EIG, Daniel is experienced in preparing and filing employment-based visa cases, primarily focusing on PERM drafting, H-1B, and dependent EAD petitions. Prior to joining EIG, Daniel worked within the public-sector drafting federal financial regulatory policy and within the private-sector providing counsel to small businesses. Daniel finds working within the immigration field to be incredibly rewarding and he enjoys working closely with individuals throughout their visa processes.

While in law school, Daniel was a staff member of the International Law Journal and a writer-lyricist for the annual Law Revue. Additionally, Daniel provided legal counsel to small business and non-profit entities clients in the District of Columbia as a student-attorney in the Community and Economic Development Legal Clinic.
