Melissa has experience representing companies and individuals in a wide range of business and family-related immigration matters.  Her clients have included companies of all sizes, including large multinational corporations and emerging start-ups, as well as highly accomplished individuals in the arts, sciences, business, research, and education.  Melissa has conducted seminars on visa options for musicians at conservatories in the greater Boston area and routinely shares her expertise as a panelist and speaker with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.  As a Managing Attorney at Erickson Immigration Group, Melissa’s practice focuses on guiding companies, employees, and families through the complex processes to obtain permanent residence and citizenship in the United States.

Community Involvement:

Melissa has served as a volunteer attorney providing pro bono representation for asylum seekers with the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project (PAIR). She has also provided pro bono representation for clients seeking disability waivers and applying for naturalization with Project Citizenship.

Outside the Office:

Melissa is a classically-trained pianist who particularly enjoys working through 20th century Russian piano literature and takes every opportunity to get outside with her family and two small dogs.
