Aynur Jafar

Associate Attorney

Aynur Jafar is an Associate Attorney for Erickson Immigration Group. She focuses primarily on H-1B and L-1 petitions and Requests for Evidence (known as “RFE”) on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters. Prior to joining Erickson Immigration Group, Aynur worked for a boutique law firm in the metro Washington, D.C. area, where she focused on different humanitarian immigration matters such as Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) as well as employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant matters.

Before starting her career in the immigration law field, Aynur worked as a human rights lawyer in Azerbaijan for over seven years, where she worked for local and international non-governmental organizations such as American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA-ROLI), Council of Europe, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and Legal Education Society based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
