Starting November 11, 2019, Poland was officially included in the Visa Waiver Program. It is a comprehensive program designed to encourage and strengthen tourism and business exchanges between the United States and designated countries while increasing security.
Polish citizens can now travel to the United States for business or tourism for up to 90 days without applying for a U.S. visa. Instead, they are eligible to apply online for authorization to travel to the United States through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). As a testament to “the special relationship that exists between our two countries,” Poland is now the 39th member of the Visa Waiver Program.
