June 2014 Visa Bulletin Released

The U.S. Department of State has released the Visa Bulletin for June 2014.  Philippines EB-3 saw the most progression, advancing by 61 days.  The most notable movement, however, was the China EB-3 retrogression of 6 years. India EB-2 remains at November 15, 2004 and China EB-2 jumped 37 days to May 22, 2009.

The June 2014 Visa Bulletin can be summarized as follows:

EB-1

  • All countries remain current.

EB-2

  • Persons in the EB-2 category and born in China are current if they have a priority date of May 22, 2009 or earlier. This category has advanced by 37 days.
  • Persons in the EB-2 category and born in India are current if they have a priority date of November 15, 2004 or earlier.  This category remains unchanged.
  • The worldwide quota, Mexico, and the Philippines remain current.

EB-3 

  • Persons in the EB-3 category and falling into the worldwide quota are current if they have a priority date of April 1, 2011 or earlier.  This category has retrogressed by 1 year, 6 months.
  • Persons in the EB-3 category and born in China are current if they have a priority date of October 1, 2006 or earlier. This category has retrogressed by 6 years.
  • Persons in the EB-3 category and born in India are current if they have a priority date of October 15, 2003 or earlier. This category has advanced by 14 days.
  • Persons in the EB-3 category and born in Mexico are current if they have a priority date of April 1, 2011 or earlier. This category has retrogressed by 1 year, 6 months.
  • Persons in the EB-3 category and born in the Philippines are current if they have a priority date of January 1, 2008 or earlier. This category has advanced by 61 days.

EB-4 and EB-5

  • All countries remain current.
